Meet Dr. Ravi Nadarajah

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My office is at 110 Daniel Drive (behind Pizza Hut), Suite 14 in Uniontown, PA. We have been serving the region for ten years.
I completed my residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland Medical System. Following this I received advanced training in diagnosing and treating diseases of the nose and sinuses, allergic diseases of the head and neck, and endoscopic sinus surgery at the University of Chicago. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology – head and neck surgery, fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Originally, from Singapore, I began my tertiary education at the National University of Singapore, graduating with a degree in dentistry in 1983. After serving in the armed forces as a dental officer, I pursued a Master’s of Science in Oral Medicine at the University of London, England. This degree was conferred with distinction in 1986. Motivated by my interest in diseases of the head and neck, I went on to obtain a medical education. I was awarded my medical degree conjointly from the Royal College of Surgeons and the National University of Ireland with honors and several distinctions.
I have participated at numerous scientific meetings, co-authored a book chapter, and I am a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Association of Chemoreception Sciences, American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and American Rhinologic Society. I am also an examiner for the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Fellowship Examinations.
I am registered with the Irish Medical Council, Singapore Medical Council, Singapore Dental Board, United Kingdom Dental Board. Illinois State Board of Medicine, West Virginia Board of Medicine, and Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine.
A comprehensive range of services is provided at my office. This includes the diagnosis and management of sinonasal disease, obstructive sleep apnea, allergy hearing and balance disorders, smell and taste dysfunction, infections of the head and neck, voice, speech, and swallowing disorders, and tumors of the head and neck. We also perform allergy skin testing and deliver immunotherapy. Audiologic testing is available. We can perform videonstagmograms (VNG) to aid in the evaluation of balance disorders. We perform Functional Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) for diagnosis of swallowing difficulties in the office.
For the evaluation of voice disorders, we perform flexible/rigid videostrobolaryngoscopy. A full spectrum of pediatric services is also offered.
